Coaches have no centralized way to organize their resources and lesson plans.

Coaches have no centralized way to organize their resources and lesson plans.

The amount of content online can be overwhelming and difficult to sort through.
Our first step was to interview.
We interviewed...

2 students 2 coaches

Our user base consisted of Jiu-Jitsu students and coaches.
Our research objective was to understand what their needs are and what their lives
are like both in the Ji Jitsu community and outside of it.

The next step is to look at other BJJ sites for Competitive Research. Out team needed to see how other brands structured their content and learning systems so we decided to do some comparisons.

Checked out the largest Video/content-sharing platforms to see how they organize their content. Took note of how Instagram and Youtube allows users to save and organize content.

To assess the usability of the training section by determining how/if coaches and students can successfully create, organize, and interact with folders and class pages.
• Metrics: Time on task, error rate, user satisfaction
• 4 (2 coaches, 2 students) with the gym community and students.
RESULTS:
• T4/4 Users mentioned note and discussion sections are great for building engagement
• 4/4 Users experienced some difficulty when adding a resource to their folder
